and much primitive camping, you are always on the move. Our dedicated

setting for students. From hands on building of a bow drill to class
with a power point presentation to being on the water paddling – a
Maine experience.
You
will be camping rain or shine; the days are long, from morning chores
to evening classes. In fact you will be
moving about almost daily,
maybe
tracking a moose, canoeing, casting for trout, or getting wet learning
paddling strokes. During each session we attempt to do one overnight
river trip – setting camp, cooking and learning about plants, tree
usage and wildlife. Group team skills and camp chores are part of the
program. Be it your turn to gather wood, cook or do dishes, we will build
a solid team with long lasting memories.
Camp
includes all meals, equipment, manuals, reference books (yours for
the keeping), overnight camping,
all fee’s and permits. We
also maintain a small store where students can purchase outdoor equipment.
Students will have a chance to go to the local store or have additional
needs pickup at our local Wal-Mart in town.
We are 20 minutes from Bangor
International Airport and the bus terminal, our staff can pickup students
and insure their safe return.
